This two-day seminar, hosted by Tu-Tech Innovation in Hamburg, focused on innovation in deprived urban areas.

Ther first day hosted a public conference on innovation, addressed by key-note speaker Astrid Severin, from the European Commission. Partners presented relevant case studies on innovation from their own cities, thus being given the opportunity to share their experiences and best practices from 5 European cities: London, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Prague and Milan.

The second day consisted of more case study presentations, followed by workshop discussions on the presented partner experiences and on the proposed draft Toolkit for innovation.
