LNet pilot activites: Promoting enterprise in deprived urban areas; can it work in Prague and Milan?
1st October 2007
International conference, City Hall of Prague, Marianske namesti 2
The European Learning Network (LNet) was set up in July 2004 to develop innovative and practical tools to promote enterprise in Amsterdam, Hamburg, London, Milan and Prague. In December 2006 the network published a manual of best practice in enterpreneurship, innovation and social enterprise as a practical tool for economic development practitioners.
Two cities –Prague and Milan – decided to take this work a step further and to test the LNet toolkit on the ground. The results of the pilot projects will be launched in Prague, offering an opportunity for delegates to evaluate the impact of the projects and to test these further.
