European Learning Network Launch

The launch of the European Learning Network (LNet) provided an introduction to an innovative new project led by GLE, designed to promote enterprise in deprived urban areas.

John Healey, MP Economic Secretary to the Treasury, gave the keynote speech. The conference also included input from high profile speakers from each of the four partner cities, of Amsterdam, Hamburg, Milan and Prague, who presented each city’s experience in the field of enterprise and innovation in deprived urban areas

A panel discussion followed the presentations addressing the major themes raised in the speeches.
